# Quickstart

> Start using Yuri in a few minutes. Save a link from Telegram or the Chrome extension, then find it in My Links.

Start talking to Yuri in a few minutes. Pick the door you already use.

    ### How do I start Yuri on Telegram?

    Open [yurihelpful.com](https://yurihelpful.com), pick a plan, and finish checkout. Yuri emails you an activation code. In Telegram, send `/start` plus that code to Yuri. That ties your account to this chat.

    ### How do I save my first link?

    Forward a post, or paste an `https://` link, into the chat with Yuri. He files it into your library. When he is done, he replies with **Show Options**.

    <Tip>Yuri takes links only. Do not send photos or files. Send the URL of the post.</Tip>

    ### Where do I find it later?

    Open [My Links](https://yurihelpful.com/saved). The same item is there, with the same transcript, tags, and actions.

    ### How do I install the extension?

    Install [Save to Yuri](https://yurihelpful.com/extension) from the Chrome Web Store. Pin it to the toolbar.

    ### How do I connect my account?

    Click the toolbar icon, then **Connect Yuri**. A Yuri page opens and asks whether this extension may use your account. Nothing is saved until you say yes.

    ### How do I save my first post?

    On Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit, TikTok, or Pinterest, click the Yuri button on the post. On any other page, use the toolbar button to save the current address.

    **Saved to Yuri** means Yuri accepted the link. He reads it after that. Today he also messages you on Telegram when he finishes.

    ### Where do I find it later?

    Open [My Links](https://yurihelpful.com/saved), or wait for Yuri's Telegram message.
